Researching her eighteenth-century home in South Berwick inspired Paula Bennett to write Imagining Ichabod: My Journey into 18th-Century America Through History, Food, and a Georgian House. She weaves historic recipes throughout the text, which includes archaeological dig discoveries from the property, along with details about its chronology and the history of the families who lived there. While showcasing our most iconic buildings, this throw/blanket focuses on experiences within town such as hiking at special places, skiing at Powderhouse Hill, and traditional town events. We also thought it was appropriate to add in the town seal.
The throw blanket is 2 ½ layers, 50” x 60” inches, done in natural, gray and black thread as pictured, neutral for any décor. It is approved for coziness by our Director’s boys, and dog, too!
