May 21 -  OBHS Annual Meeting

7:00 pm (Counting House)

Enjoy an evening of good food and a performance by Jeff Warner at our Annual Meeting.  Located at the Counting House, the Annual Meeting is open to all OBHS members - new members are welcome to join at the door.  The society’s annual membership meeting begins with refreshments and exhibit viewing at 7:00 pm and will be followed by the concert.

Jeff Warner's traditional songs are rich in local history, a sense of place and a connection to the distant past. Community songs, banjo tunes, 18th-century New England hymns, spoon-playing and sailor songs highlight his amusing and informative program.

The Counting House, an 1832 textile mill building, is the home of the Old Berwick Historical Society.  It is located on the corner of Liberty Street and Main Street next to Quamphegan Falls on the Salmon Falls River.  Annual membership in the Old Berwick Historical Society is $20 per person, or $30 for a family. Member support provides the basis for the museum and for local history programming throughout the year.
